ROLE OVERVIEW:
This is a field based role to look after regions of South England. This position is responsible for supporting the trade accounts, maintain relationships, promoting Silversea and identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within assigned call list with the goal of increasing revenue. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Based 3 days on the road, following a specific call plan, visiting trade accounts
- Act as a point of contact and information for day to day queries, sales opportunities and general sales, commercial and marketing related queries
- Communicate commercial priorities and update performance
- Negotiate marketing activity and agree plans and spend
- Identify and priorities business opportunities for both our Classic and Expedition fleet
- Assist in departmental sales efforts to move soft sailings and last minute inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of all agency interactions utilising company-supported technology tools and processes.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events when required. Some weekend or evening work may be required.
- Be able to deliver confident and detailed product/training presentations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years in a sales role. Cruise or luxury travel preferred.
- Fast learner and passion for sales.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
- Proven ability to effectively quality new leads and identify potential for sales growth.
- Confident and engaging presenter and excellent communicator.
- Able to work well independently and in a team to achieve results.
- High standard of written and verbal skills.
- To be able to interpret data to effectively track performance and covey results.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CRM tools.
- Clean driving license (minimum 2 years).
Measure of performance: - Increased revenue in South territory.
- Meet booking and revenue quarterly targets.
